Our History

Everything started in 2015 when Alberto, funder and director of the school, created a dance school in Bondi, where everyone was welcome, bringing the Latin dance culture to the eastern suburbs. We have been running classes since, making our move to Bondi Junction so it’s easier for everyone to get to us, having free parking and train station out the door

Alberto, from Spain, moved to Australia in 2011 and soon after started teaching Dance classes in Sydney and becoming a renowned instructor around Australia and overseas, teaching workshops in festivals like: Sydney International Bachata festival, Byron Bay Latin Fiesta, Newzealand Bachata festival, Hawaii Salsa and Bachata festival, etc.

He has also competed around Australia placing:

• 1st place in 2015, Pro-amateur Bachata, at the World Salsa solo celebrated in Brisbane 

• 2nd place Professional mix Latin, at the World Salsa solo celebrated in Brisbane 2016 in the category

• 3rd place WSS Brisbane 2016  Pro-am bachata master

• 3rd place in Australian Latin soloist competition, Professional division, 2013

• 2nd place in Australian Latin solo competition, Pro-amateur duets division, 2013
